SBC Ohio, now known as AT&T Ohio, permitted two companies... OAN Services and ILD Teleservices, to fraudulently bill my account for a total of more than $30.00 for ridiculous services, including "Emergency Roadside Voice Mail" and "Antivirus Email LLC".
I never asked for these services nor do I want them. Yet SBC/ATT&T claims it is MY responsibility to contact the billing parties and get the charges removed from my bill.
Well, this has happened to thousands of other customers and they're all getting the same song and dance. How is it OUR problem that our phone company is allowing third parties to fraudulently bill us for services we didn't order in the first place.
SBC/AT&T is very much aware of these companies and the havoc they are rendering on customers. Why do they allow it to continue and why do they refuse to help their customers who are the victims?
