Just like everyone else said; I've experienced the same thing. I was sent a photo of my idea and couldn't believe what I was looking at. It was NOTHING like what I had designed. I've been working with Eugene Jannuzi who also has been rude to me like the other guys mentioned.
I kept asking if they were sure they knew what I wanted and he assured me that they're professionals and do this all the time. I said - "you're going to make a prototype simply based on how I described it in writing"? They never even asked to see a drawing.
Now they're telling me they're not going to change it - that my idea is not cost effective to the manufacturer. I said - "If you're going to do it your way then what the F... Am I paying you for"?
So I'm in limbo right now. Everything has ceased until I decide how I need to handle this. I'm going to try and get my money back. I've already paid them about $7,000 and they want another $ 6,000. Oh - and then they said that if I wanted it done my way - I'd have to submit another idea targeting just men. And I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I said - " i am not paying you another $13,000 for you to try again. YOU'LL DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME"!
Is there any way we can get these guys? Lets all get together and nail these bastards!
