I brought my chain to Don's Jewelers around 5-7-05. A raccoon I was reabilitating pulled it and broke it. I brought it to them to be fixed. I got a card saying what i dropped off and how much it was going to cost to repair it. On the card or it might have been a small brown envlope. I lost it when my Explorer got flooded in Katrina. But printed on the envlope it had they were not responsible for the merchendise after either 60 or 90 days.
I went back after thirty days to reterive my chain and they were not there. The Barber shop next door said they had moved to Texas.
I know my chain wasn't worth alot but its the princible of the matter. I think it's horrid that someone would do this to people. I filed a police report on 6-7-05. I was never contacted to pick up my chain or anything of the sort. I had an answering machine at my house and a cell phone.
