The policy of the Magnifico Playhouse is for parents to pay the Friday before for the week in advance. Also, when pulling child from daycare, parent must give a "two week" notice, which gives the playhouse time to advertise to fill the childs spot.
My six month old son caught a virus obviously from the other children at the Magnifico Playhouse. I noticed all the children had a runny nose and chronic cough. He got so sick I had to take a week off from my job because he was hospitalized for RSV "respiratory sincytial virus". I enrolled him on a monday, he got sick that sunday and was out the following week.
I paid two weeks tuition in advance, and the director of the center told me that because I signed a contract they would not give me my money back.
Not only did I miss out on commission from my job, I also have numberous medical bills to pay. I feel my son was an exception from the rule because he got sick and had medical advise from his pediatrition not to return due to future risk of contracting another virus from the Magnifico Playhouse.
