I signed up with the matchmaking service EXECUTIVESINGLESDATING.com in January. A man named Jason H. Called to interview me regarding my interests and what sort of men I like to date. Jason was very professional and quickly returned my calls when I had questions. Once I paid $1200 for a year's membership, however, everything changed. It took more than three weeks for my first match. There was nothing in the man's profile that I found appealing. Over two weeks later, I received another match. Again, this guy was shorter than I asked for and did not meet several other basic requirements.

Furthermore, he was located in my town, which is small and relatively void of intelligent, tall, eligible bachelors. So I went web surfing and quickly found him on personals. Browsing through his profile, it was clear that not only did he not meet my preferences, but I did not meet his either. This happened two more times. Two more matches. Two more personal profiles. Two more emails and requests for phone conversations to Jason. I never heard from Jason again.

Finally, another man from EXECUTIVESINGLESDATING.com called me. His name was Thomas Harding. He said Jason was one of their best counselors and he must have just been trying too hard to find someone close by me. He promised to provide the level of service I had been promised but not yet received. This included at least one match every two weeks, regular feedback, and a response within 24 hours.

Several weeks later, I received my first match from Thomas. Another dud. Thomas responded via email explaining that it is possible their members seek other means of finding relationships online. I told him that was not my concern. My concern was that none of these men I had been matched with contacted me or responded to my emails. None fit all of my most basic preferences (height, age, non-smoking, religion). Thomas stopped communicating with me. I recieved another half dozen matches then nothing. Nothing since March. So much for a one year membership. My profile page was removed and my emails and phone messages were ignored.

I filed a complaint with the internet standards site referenced on executivesinglesdating.com homepage. I received a boiler plate message saying they would investigate. Six weeks later, I emailed them asking if they had made any progress. They replied, saying they were still working on it. Six weeks later, I wrote. No response. The site lists EXECUTIVESINGLESDATING as having no outstanding complaints. I suspect the internet standards site was set up by the scamming folks at EXECUTIVESINGLESDATING to make their service appear more credible.

This company goes by many names. Executive "fill in the blank" dating.com. I wish I knew how to stop them. They have offices throughout the US and one in Canada.

If you have been scammed by this company, Maybe we can find a way to recoup our financial loses.
