I called Merry Maids because my husband hurt his back. I am disabled, and I am unable to do all of the household chores. Merry Maids charged me $115.00 for a service that they did not provide.
They failed to dust, clean the outside of the refrigerator, clean the bathroom toilet, mop the bathroom floor, clean the outside of the kitchen cabinets, remove cob webs, clean crumbs off of the stove, and to clean the living room window.
I called Merry Maids to complain, and they sent someone else to clean the above items that I just mentioned. The woman that they sent failed to dust, clean the outside of the kitchen cabinets, mop the bathroom floor, and to clean the living room window.
My husband and I were getting ready to leave for the Christmas holiday. So, I did not call them back until after the holiday.
I told them that I was unsatisfied. They offered to have someone come in and clean for a third time. I told them that it was too late for that. I asked for a percentage of my money back. They said that they do not refund money, but that they would have someone come in and clean for free.
By this time, I had already cleaned my house, and it was pointless for them to come. They are a rip-off!!
