I normally do not log on or create accounts to go after anyone or bash them but after recently losing "Takai" after 10 years and looking Marc or Mark Petrizza's name up on the internet, I stumbled on this website with the report on him being convicted of Petstore Neglect and Abuse.
After getting him from this A$H*! E Back on November 18 1995 we took him to our vet when we were living in Maryland and found that he was infested with hookworm, roundworm and coxidea. My vet at the time came out to tell us that he had a 50/50 chance on living through the night.
Well, after "Takai" spent a week at the "Alexandria Emergengcy Vet Hospital", which is an excellent hospital by the way, and being wormed three times a day for three days, and having a blood transfusion he came home and lived the next 10 years of his life with us.
What pissed me off about the whole situation was this "JERK" had the balls to call me at work and ask me what the hell I was doing to his dog. His dog! I had paid this a*hole $368 for "Takai" and then had to dish out another 600 dollars in vet bills, and all I was doing was letting him know that Takai was sick and that he might want to check the mother.
Well recently, on November 1st we had to lay Takai to rest. Our current vet was treating him for an auto immune deficiency and ehrlychia concurrently with no improvement. He was convinced that now that it was cancer and tried prednisone. We also tried a transfusion of "Oxyglobin" to try a kick start his body back to health with no luck. We finally had to make the hardest decision ever to let Takai go and end his suffering.
I belive in my heart that in some way Marc or Mark Petrizza and whoever Takai came from are/were responsible in some way for his early departure from our family because they were running a puppy mill. He was always overweight no matter what we did (overbreeding?)
It has been over a week now and I still get emotional because I miss my Takai. I guess this is my way of dealing with his death. Thank you for taking the time to read my report and cry with me. Hopefully if we all band together and rid the world of people like Mark or Marc Petrizza we will not have to suffer the losses in our families prematurly any more.
