My husband and I went to a presentation 1-27-05 and signed up that night believing that we could save money concidering we were building a house well let me tell you about the savings there is none! Alot of the major stuff we needed i compared prices your better off going to your local home improvement placew there is no hidden cost there and it's cheaper for the same thing. I contacted Direct Buy about this matter and of cource they gave me some lame excuse so on Feb I wrote to Direct Buy asking to cancel our membership and get a full refund I did recieve a letter back apparently they couldn't comprehend what I was asking from them so again in March I sent them a letter asking for a full refund and to cancel our membership they pretty much laughed in our faces.
So I contacted my attorney who is now handling this and he to is not getting any where this company needs to be shut down we did not purchase anything from them and I'm still paying on my membership by the way it cost us $3,500.00 for the first 3 years they will not return any calls. So people do your home work before you make the mistake that I'm finding out that alot of people are in the same situation that we are in, or if you are having the same problem some of us are talking class action lawsuit feel free to contact me.
