I purchased a DB membership, and I'm paying ($) for my mistake. On DB's 'OUR VISION' brochure, page 3, it reads, "You save because the DB Club system eliminates the hidden store markups and middlemen costs". This is false. A purchase from the club will include shipping and handling charges, and an additional Freight charge. Here is the "hidden store markup". I'm not talking about a minimal charge, but a markup so out of the ordinary so as to eliminate any of the cost savings. The freight charge is charged by the weight of what you buy. If you buy a large home appilance, piece of furniture, flat screen, etc., what ever you buy, your going to pay, ($) by the pound for it. You have been warned.
