Capital Choice sent me an application to obtain a visa or master card with a $5,0000 limit for the low fee of $39.00. I sent a check for that amount and they debited my bank account of the $39.00 without processing the check. I notified the bank that the $39.00 debit was unauthorized and requested that it be removed from my record.
I received in the mail this Merchandise Card from Capital Choice with a limit of $5,000. I have tried to call them by phone at a 800 number, but it was busy each time. I placed all the stuff they sent me back into the envelope, cut up the card, and mailed it all back to them. Called the bank and canceled the check. I cost me $28.00 to cancel the check, but I would rather pay my bank for my mistake that let Capital Chioce have it.
I notified the Attorney General and the US Postal Service of this fraud. But, to tell you all the truth if they were up front with me at the begining then I might have kept the card and done business with them.
