I found a puppy on puppyfind.com with the listing price of $450.00 including shipping. I contacted the seller and set up arrangements via email to mail him the amount. I sent the $450.00 via moneygram to Michael Ervin c/o of Patricia Petifer on 09/06/05. He contacted me later that day to let me know he received the reference number.
On 09/08/05 he contacted me and requested an additional $200.00 for shipping of the puppy. I contacted him and told him that I could not send the additional money and that the puppy was listed at the price of $450.00 with shipping included. He has not tried to make contact since then. I received my last email from him on 09/08/05.
I have copies of all email correspondence and have filed a report with the better business bureau of Kansas and Texas, along with a complaint to the FBI for internet fraud. I have contacted a lawyer, but they are making no promises.
I want everyone to be aware that Michael Ervin is a scammer. Puppyfind.com, the website where he was listing his puppies, contacted me and told me he was kicked off recently because he was using another breeders pictures and they have received other complaints regarding him.
Please help me in any way you can. Thank you.
