I ordered a 1-yr. (10 issues) gift subscription online to the magazine "Men's Health" from the website www.magazines2u.com on 2/7/05 and paid for it by credit card. Unfortunately, I was just informed by the recipient of said gift subscription that he NEVER received any issues to date. (This is what these magazine subscription companies bank on; people forget about their subscriptions, they're too embarrassed or don't want to bother the gift giver.)
After three (3) attempts to contact Limitless Enterprises (d/b/a Magazines2u.com) in writing at the address listed on their website, I have received no response. The phone number listed is a recorded message about back pain, and is therefore not legitimate.
I have complete written documentation verifying this transaction and have filed reports with the Better Business Bureau and Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC). Please note the Better Business Bureau reports there have been 27 UNSATISFACTORY claims against this company within the past 36 mos. I am filing this complaint in an effort to publicly expose this fraudulent company before they take anyone else's money. Companies like this should be put out of business!!! Spread the word.
