Major League Moving
Biggest Rip-off I have ever Seen, Do Not Use This Company

These guys were to be at my apartment at 7:00 pm on a Saturday evening. They finally show up around 10:30 that night. My wife were in a 2 bedroom apartment and moving to another building within the same complex literally across the street.

We had put mostly everything into boxes that we found at random places just like anyone else and when they showed up they said for liability purposes that if we did not use their boxes then they were not going to move them for us. Fine, I said, just move the furniture and anything else you can get and I will take care of the rest.

Before the move I was in contact with the director of sales and marketing; big name for a company of 2 or 3 people. We had agreed on a 2 hour minimum of $162 per hour plus $25 for materials (plastic wrap and blankets) and $25 for transportation (across the street). The "director" assured me that with 4 people it would not take more than 2 hours.

I was trying to hurry them up so I wouldn't have to go over the 2 hour minimum and at one point one of the guys told my wife and I that they were exhausted and had been up since 6:00 am moving.

They ended up taking their sweet time and finally finished up around 1:00 am. I get to the truck (the "presidents" office) and he writes me up a bill for close to $800.

Excuse me, I said. This is not what your "director" and I discussed. Well, to make a long story shor, he charged me and extra hour because it took 2 1/2 hours, so of course they round up, and then he charged me another hour of drive time since they had to come from Ft. Worth, which is an hour away.

Well at this point it is 1:30 in the morning and I am already pissed and wanted them to leave so I wrote them a chack for the almost $800. I know, I was an idiot but I already had my new neighbors yelling at me for being so loud not to mention that the guy with the large diesel truck left it running the whole time.

I figured that I would just follow up with the "director" on Monday and we would get this all settled. Well I called on Monday and talked with him and it felt as though he was on my side but advised me that it was not in his hands and that the president of the company had the overall say in what happens. Keep in mind that the "president" is the one that showed up at 10:30 pm and was one of the movers.

I tried and tried to reach him and left messages and finally 2 weeks later when I reached him he flat told me that "you signed the check and it is a done deal." He did not want to work with me at all. He could have cared less about trying to work something out or that his "director" had priced the move differently.

This guy is a piece of sh* and don't let the DR.in front of his name on his businss card fool you. I hope all who is moving reads this first and do not let this guy stay in business any longer. I could go way off on this guy with a lot of four letter words and believe me I hope him and his "director" catch wind of this. Also be sure and check out their BBB rating. It's pathetic, The BBB already cut them off due to complaints that were not handled.

Please everyone join me and help put these SOB's out of business.
