In April 05, I paid a "one time" fee to access my credit report. A few days later I cancelled it by sending an email to the address they suggested ie, [email protected]. It wasn't until a few days ago (early Aug.) that I realized they had been debiting my account for $9.95 on 7/05 and 8/01. I called them and RE - cancelled my membership and demanded a refund.
The woman told me they had not received my email. I said I had a copy in front of it with the date on it. She said she would do a "special circumstances" refund of $9.95. I said it wasn't good enough... I needed the other $9.95 refunded too. She said it would take 7-10 days but it would be refunded to my account. I mentioned all the internet complaints and she blamed the consumers!!! Guess it is all our fault... Yeah right!!!
