On Thursday March 17th, I paid to have professional photographs taken by Ariza Talent Agency in Longwood, FL, with my credit card. The charge was $650. After thinking about this later, I realized I could not afford it and called Sharon Campana from Ariza on 2:50 pm March 22nd within the 3 business day period. She said she would take care of the cancellation. I never had the photographs taken and still have not received a credit back to my credit card.
On Thursday April 21st I spoke the owner Jeff Callender, who assured me he would check into the matter and call me on Friday April 22nd 2005. I did not hear back from him on that Friday and called him again on Monday April 25th. I did not reach him, but instead got his voice mail. I left a message regarding the situation, and asked that he get back with me about the matter. After numerous attempts to reach him, I have not heard anything. I am receiving over the limit fees from my credit card company and he has yet to refund my money. I always heard about talent and modeling agencies being scams and now I know first hand. I should have known when Sharon Campana showed me client's checks that this place was shady.
