This Agency requires that you use their photographer and hair stylist to take photos for their clients. Even though you have professional photos by another agency, they require it. After reviewing their photos, the poses were not good at all. The stylist they used didn't even bring a blowdryer or additional hair items.
We waited approximately 4 weeks and called to say what is the status on the photos. Photographer on vacation was the reason. Then called again in 2 weeks on the status and was told that it would be in soon and once the sample pictures arrive we would come in and pick the best of 3 I believe and then they would go to card stock print. AFter checking 3 weeks later, now they don't go to Cardstock, they now email pictures to potential clients.
I would recommend that if I had to do it all over again, I would want to talk to one of the current similar age talent to find out about their experience thus far and require use of your existing professional pictures if their are no copy right issues with yours.
You shouldn't have to chase down an agency unless they were extremely busy. With the economy we know that all business is down. If this agency can simply state that business is slow that would be satisfactory. We will continue to followup until we break even with the $500 spent on the not so good photos.
