Hi! I received a message from "Cosmo Girl Model Agency" to contact their agent, Tina, regarding acting and modeling. I did and Tina was very interested in representing me. She interviewed me over the phone and at the very end of a pleasant conversation, she offered to create a "comp card" for me.
The card will hold a collage of my images and will help Tina represent me on a more professional level. The cost of the card with 5 pictures is $595. I said that I need to think about it. After our conversation ended I went on their website cosmogirlmodel.com and in "Our new models" section I recognized famous actors such as Monica Belucci and Milla Iovovich listed with different names and ages!!!
I decided to do some research and found the exact same pictures of the actors on their websites! I called back the Cosmo Girl Model Agency immediately and told them that what they are doing is wrong and illegal - They hung up on me as soon as I mentioned I was going to file a complaint with the BBB. This happend yesterday (7/20) and today I checked their website again and the whole "Our new models" section has been removed. It says "Coming soon"...
