The Right Move Moving & Storage
Ripoff Cold hearted-mean-threatening, lying-evil people

The Right Move Moving & Storage was contracted by Nationwide Relocation Services to do our Move. My husband is 100% disabled and terminally ill, we where moving him to better doctors and a nice place to enjoy for the rest of his time. I put money down ($839.02) on the move to secure my time line 3-23-05. We were to be picked up 5/30 or 5/31 2005 and delivered by 6/2 to 6/8 2005. We asked a month in advance to be picked up on the 30th and Nationwide confirmed. An updated inventory was emailed to Nationwide indicated a lot less items being moved, and I was told that my estimate was heavy figured to protect me, and that when the truck was wieghed that the price would drop a lot.

The Right Move came on 5/31 the movers 1st words were you better give us a good tip. They also began to try to charge for items included in our contract. They said they would go to the weigh station and call with the weight to figure our balance. They never called. Nationwide could not get us our weight, and we could not get our weight. Everyday past the delivery date I called begging for our stuff. With my ill husband I needed our beds, our washer and dryer his medical supplies and his wheelchair, his hospital bed air matress which rotates to prevent blood clots. I was contacted by Sam/Dave/Leo from The Right Move (all claim to be the owner by the way) (Shai Pinsky is the owner I know now) I was told "Hey Mrs. Thompson, you have nice stuff, what I dont F'ing keep I'm gonna bust up you know." I called Nationwide and complained. This was followed up by a call from The Right Move saying, "Hey Bitch, you gonna f—k with me, you got kids, I got your address, you dont know who your f'ing with, I am x-Isreali malitia bitch." I called Nationwide and Complained. That was follwed by a call from The Right Move "I can keep your stuff for 30 days by law Bitch, and I will you can call the DOT, the police the FBI none of them can help you. You'll get what I want you to have, when I want you to have it." Finally on the 15th of June a truck came, they made me pay first, and then said brace yourself this isnt gonna be pretty. They began uloading busted boxes. They had 2087 lbs on the truck (per our lading bill) and only when done unloading said they rest was at the NY Wharehouse with The Right Move. I was sick by this, But I'm ahead of myself, let me tell what they tried to charge me. Leo said On the phone when the truck was coming "You owe $6000.00 more for this move then the estimate. I said no way. He said you weighed 12,000 lbs. (he said he had a weigh tickett that he had weighed me with someone else and that I had to pay, I said no way, I dont own that much stuff. He said he had a weigh bill, I said I wanted a re-wiegh, he said the truck was at the weigh station, Nationwide was on the phone too, he said the truck was at the weigh station and that the weight was 12,000 lbs. Nationwide said well, if he has proof of my wiegh I had to pay it, I said how can the truck be at the weigh station when it just pulled up? He said I was lying to get the driver. The driver was trying to tell us that they were trying to take us (he was subcontracted by The Right Move, and very upset with them), and was getting me some paper work out, our bill of lading said plainly 2087 billable weight. I told this to Leo, and he said to give him the driver, the driver was getting more paper work for me, Leo got irate, he said get the f'ing driver, I said wait - I cant drag him by the arm to the phone, he said he was charging me by the minute on the phone, his time was money. At some point Nationwide got off the phone. Leo hung up. He then got the driver on his cell, he said they wanted $3000.00 and they would unload, I said no, I'm calling the police you weighed me with someone elses weight, I dont own that much stuff and I'm not paying for it, he called Leo back, and put him on the phone with me. He said give me $3000, I said no, he said give me $2500, I said no, he said give me $1800, I said no, I dont have that, he said what do you have, I said what I owed $1436.65, and I said with the weight of 2087 I was estimated at 5900, I owe less. He said you want your stuff? I said yes he said pay that in cash and they will onload, make me a reciept saying that you will make no claims against me for lost items or damage and I will consider this done (I did not know at this time, nor did Nationwide that 790lbs of my stuff was not here). I made a receipt, but didnt put any thing on it other then I paid who I paid to and the date, I had to fax it to them then pay, then the unload began. I was fit to be tied. The whole time The Right Move was making Nationwide think I had all my stuff, and that my weight was 12,000lbs. Lies. Once I got all my paper work and got the "What was not sent and what was busted together I called Nationwide, (and the FBI), the girl from Nationwide was upset with the Right Move and said, I'll get you help and called Aldo Disorbo. Aldo has spoke with me several times. He got my bill of lading and refunded me overnight what his company had over charged because of The Right Moves lies. He tried several times to get my things delivered by The Right Move, but as of 7/6/05 the rest of my things have not come. Nor did The Right Move refund the overage that they were to send of almost $700.00 per our discussion with Shai and Aldo (Shai sent a copy of the check, but didnt mail it!). The has been very devistating for us. I know many people have had trouble with Nationwide, I think the problem lies with its subcontractors! They are the ones who take your things and hold them hostage. Nationwide called me back each time I called, and tried to assist me. The Right Move is an evil company. They unpacked my husbands things, and sent what they thought he needed like his abdominal pads for bleeding and leaking, his chux, his basic medical supplies, but kept the things of value like the wheelchair, the air matress, the lift, the bed frames, the blood pressure machine, his shower seat, the bedside toilet, our big screen, our other table top Tv's, our Dvd's our freezor (used for medical needs), our marble dressor, our bedside hospital table, his walker. Many many other things, many dont weigh much, but are very important to my husbands life! Does anyone out there have any advice on what I can do? Stay away from The Right Move, it is the Wrong Choice. I cant describe in words how this has hurt us.
