Lottery ripoff id stealing

I recieved a letter in normal post from spain for a previous tennant of my house

I collect stamps Having no way to foward the letter as the tennants did a midnight flip and not believing it worth to return to sender overseas and no return address I ripped the stamp off and read the contents

Finding a form letter saying his name had been chosen by computer to win first prize in their lottery worth 850,000 euro but their had been a mix up with the names so keep it quiet and fax a form to them to put all thier
NAME ADDRESS BANK ACCOUNT BIRTH DATE AND NEXT OF KIN DETAILS.

I emailed them saying that he had moved on and I knew not where.

They replied that I could claim the prize if I filled out the details putting myself as next of kin???
I smelled scam
i found the above articles
lottery winner faxs to spain?
