I filed my divorce in december 1999 and payed her hundreds of dollars.
My wife had filed too. Hers made it in before mine. I finally made it to court on december 20. And didn't receive my papers (divorce decree) till may.
I had standard order visitation with my children.in february my wife refused me my children.
I contacted nancy several times not getting any phone calls back.
I then made an appointment to see her and this was in april still not getting to see my children.
She told me that she had filed papers and they were sitting in the judges chambers and she was just waiting for a court date.
I beleved her so she said it might be up to 6 weeks before we can get a court date.
So i called and continuously kept trying to talk to her. But she never returned my calls.
I then called the court house where she supposedly filed this motion.
They told me that nancy had not contacted them at all. I then fired her and got a new attorney it is now february and i just went to court because of all the time that i wasted waiting for nancy.
I now only get to see my children a few hours every saturday because i haven't seen them in a year.
If nancy didn't want to represent me then she should have just called me and told me not lie and cause me to lose all the visitation with my children.
