I found Pre Paid Legal services on the web. Sounded like a good deal. They offer legal services for a modest monthly fee. They offer to write legal letters, offer advice on a legal problem, do other minor things for you. They offer a very small discount on their attonery's fees, if you have to go to court, or need them for any real legal problems.
I found this out after I signed up with one of their smooth talking Agents, that promised they would do much more than they really do. Now, I knew from the price they charged a month, they weren't going to take on a large case, however.
They set me up with a law firm in Dallas TX. I called the firm, and asked one of the attonery if he could help me me a problem. And wanted to know how I should go legaly with it. He was a arrogant, condescending jerk, who acted like he was way to important to bother with my question. Then told me I needed to contact a private attonery for any help.
I can't believe I was paying a legal service for that kind of information! These people are dishonest, and prey on low income families, who can't afford to hire an attonery. They give false hope to desperate people in a legal bind.
