I needed legal help so I contacted prepaid legal for legal assistance. I was told by them that they would contact some lawyers for me. I would not have to pay no more than $50 dollars for help. I was looking for legal aid right? All they did was give me a number to call. I called and was told that they could get me a lawyer for about the price of a lawyer. I told them that I was looking for legal aid and they told me that I better contact my public defenders office.
What a rip off!!! I told Pre-paid legal to erase me out of their computer and that they were no help and they better not try to bill me for anything. They billed me anyway and it ended up overdrafting my account. I am right now trying to resolve this with my bank. I am not going to pay $40 dollars for someone to tell me to get a public defender. I could of just asked my neighbor for that information and saved a lot of money. That place is ridiculous. If anybody needs some useless info just pay pre-paid legal $40 dollars for it. Or you can just pay me $5 dollars for it. Hey I am cheaper.
