I ordered a poster from Adam Hersh Auctions on ebay. I used the "buy it now" option. The poster was. 99 and the postage was $6.99 and the insurance was $1.99. The total came to just about $10. (not a lot of money) I paid immediately!
I waited 3 weeks for the poster and it didn't arrive. So I emailed Adam Hersh Auctions. I received automated replies to multiple emails. After the third email I was getting extremely frustrated. I demanded a response and finally got one from a human being. They claimed that the poster was "mangled" by the post office and they would send another once they recieved another from their "supplier." I felt this was a lie, but can't prove that it was.
I waited another 2 weeks and still recieved nothing. So I emailed them and demanded a refund. I did receive a refund eventually. I then left them negative feedback because I felt they deserved it. I bought something from them and paid them immediately and received nothing. They didn't fulfill their obligation. Adam Hersh Auctions then retaliated by leaving me negative feedback, which was completely unwarranted. What did I do wrong? I paid, I waited patiently, I contacted them to make them aware of the situation and then I demanded a refund when they couldn't come through.
After they left me negative feedback, I received an email from ebay saying that adam hersh auctions opened a unpaid item dispute saying that we mutually agreed not to complete the transaction because I was not satisfied with the merchandise and returned it for a refund. That was NOT true. I never got anything from them to return. I explained to ebay that they were not entitled to a refund of their fees.
I later received an email from ebay stating that Adam Hersh Auctions was requesting that negative feedback be mutually withdrawn. I refused. They post negative feedback for anyone who posts it for them, just so they can have it mutually withdrawn. A lot of people have fallen for their deception. But I wanted other bidders to know what they are getting into when they deal with this "company." Adam Hersh Auctions has sold to nearly 60,000 bidders and has nearly 1600 negative comments and that doesn't include all the people who were black mailed into mutually withdrawing feedback.
They are just an awful company to deal with! I learned my lesson: always, always read the feedback before you order because a good percentage isn't always indicative of a good seller.
