In July bought a package from Cingular Wireless and given the contract and brochure that explains off/on peak hours... My off peak hours were supposed to be as in writing... 7pm they refuse to honor this... And are making my off peak hours 9pm... For the past month I have had multiple problems with the phones keypad and background noise, 3rd party conversations, ghost noises, etc, etc... I took it in for repairs and the guy said "I dont know who programmed this phone but it was way off".
He states he fixed it... I cont. To have problems... The voice mail would not even recogonize the key pad and let me access my voice mail from my cell phone... So the key pad was messed up... So apparentely when you hit "end" it didnt end or what ever... My phone bill for 7 months was always Minimum charge, never roamed, never used all my day minutes, NOTHING. Then this month (keep in mind my useage is the same) my bill went from 35.00 to 330.00 dollars.!!!
They can provide no answers. It was at this time that I found out they were charging for the 2 hours at night they shouldnt of been... So they credited the account with like 80.00... For this month only but said in the future my off peak hours was 9pm I said my contract was for 7pm and they said "you received the wrong brochure"... I said "thats not my fault and you are breaching the contract... Shut service off" they said "and by doing that you will incure $150.00 early disconnect for not honoring the contract... But they are the ones not honoring the contract... HELP...
