Annapolis Talent Agency Motion Pictures-Kidz In The Biz
Ripoff

We bought photographs from Ric Shaw. He then explained in detail what that would entail. He gave a steep discount if we made the decision "on the spot". We did. The photos were subpar but acceptable. I didn't want to put my child through another photo shoot. He also said that the photo could be posted on the web for additional monies. I then signed a form which I believe explained what we just discussed.

I paid for the photo shoot-$300 but told him that I wasn't interested in the web at this time. A month later another woman calls and stated we owe Motion Pictures $573. Let me premise this by saying, this woman asked for my child, not me. I told her very clearly we were not interested in the web or additional photos at this time. A week later, photos arrive in the mail and my child noticed her photo on the web. I ignored this until I saw a $573 dollar charge on my credit card. I've been calling motion pictures since to state that this charge was unauthorized and what they did was underhanded. I never authorized web or additional photos.

A few days later, I get a charge receipt along with the form I signed outlining these charges. They added charges that I am unfamiliar with.

My belief is that that the firm is underhanded and charges for items and services then sends a receipt that you authorized these charges. I've been calling them and recently sent a letter to the attorney general and the better business bureau. It's been a nightmare so far. Needless to say, my child hasn't gotten any work from them.
