This CCA or now they call themselves CCS has been at it for a while I suppose. I just got the letter and the card today. At first I was ecstatic when I read the first few lines saying that I had a credit limit of like 6,500.00, but then I realized that my credit isn't in the best of shape right now. I waited until I got home, then I decided to do a little investigating of my own. On the papers that they sent me there wasn't any phone numbers listed to speak to a customer service rep anywhere. This was weird! Usually when you get a credit card they have a number to call to answer any questions you might have. Finally, I get on the computer and I did a GOOGLE search of this CREDIT SERVICE DIVISION stuff they had printed on the heading of the paperwork.
Low and behold I discovered good people all over the US have already been swindled by these people. Thank God I stumbled onto this website. It saved me from activating this bogus credit card. And beleive me it is bogus, if you look at the back of the card the magnetic strip is located at the very top of the card. This was one of the red flags that went up for me. It doesn't even look like a genuine credit card, and the only phone number it has on the card is the activation number. No real credit card prints the activation number on the back of the card! Usually they have a phone number for either a lost or stolen card or customer service or both. Don't be fooled by these people, they just want to take advantage of people that have poor credit! These conartists will do anything to get your bank info. Don't give it to them. A real credit card company does not need your bank info. I would also like to extend my graditude towards this website. Thank you very much!
