Well, I am one of many distibutors who got trapped with machines. So many times I go back to the moment I handed my check to Shad Vickery and I wish somebody knocked my unconscious before I did that. Nevetheless, for almost two years I'v been struggling to recover my investment. I keep on working, moving machines to new locations. Some machines are working OK but nothing is even close to the promised revenue. Nevertheless, since I never give up in my life I do not want to allow these crooks to bring me down. I am planning to continue working because the concept is viable, but it takes a lot of time to develop it, escpecially the way they set it up.
They haven't done anything terrible to me, my machines were delivered timely, they gave me locators who sent me leads; yes, the leads were lousy but I jumped on anything. They used to return my phone calls but now they don't. I tried to call them number of times in the past 2 weeks and nobody would answer the phone. When the phone is answered it is that rude girl Sandra who talked to me as if I owed her someting. I got really worried and searching for information on Espresso Italia (because I had a hunch that something was going wrong since the Trade Commission Ruling) I found this website. Now I am terribly concerned that they will go bancrupt (Shad vickery already went bancrupt once before, probably related to the previous company they had) and I will have no way to get the product and service the machines. I do believe that it would be very wise to contact a good Florida based lawyer (I have one in mind because I worked for him years ago, B. Deuschel in Fort Lauderdale, who's always been involved in high profile cases).
I think that we need to get together and:
1. Demand that Trade Commission to release the information on existing distributors and the manufacturer in Italy, so we can deal directly with them and let everybody now how to get the product. The manufacturer will definitely be interested to keep thousands of accounts in this country.
2. Once we are sure that our product supply and servicing for the machines is secured, move on and file a lawsuit against Espresso Italia Marketing before they go bancrupt, in order to recover our money and seek punitive damages.
Trade Commission already has a lot of information on them, and if nothing else EI deceived all of us that they were the only authorized marketing company in the US that can sell machines and coffee. We all invested money believing that nobody else can sell to our accounts. Now, everybody can get on internet and get capsulated coffee I sell at $0.75 to my locations for $0.35 and put me out of business, because coffee is sold on e-bay, two other companied sell coffee and the same brand of machine (not the same one but similar) at a very low price.
I realized that I can still run this business, with some profit and maybe sell it down the road if I have a way to buy nmachines at a reasonable price and get the product timely.
If we are able to get all distibutors together, and as someone else suggested sell and buy between ourselves, under condition that we have a back-up line to get coffee and machines straight from Italy, it would be easy to find a shop in Miami and contract them to reapir our machines. I am pretty sure that the Italian party in this scam would be ready to step up to the plate and help us out (unless they are crooks themselves and then we are not in a good position)
So anybody in agreement with this proposal, please post your reports on this site and let's try to get together. There was somebody who already hired a lawyer in Florida, I remember reading it, but now I cannot find the posting. Would that gentlemen be so kind and respond again, because we can all join together and file a lawsuit.
