My naive 14 year old submitted a poem in May. She received a letter dated June 2 stating that her poem would be published in a book entitled "Reflections - ISBN: 0-9743429-6-3.
In order for her to own a copy of the anthology at the author's pre-publication price, she would need to send $39.95 $7.80 shipping and handling. Also, in order to receive a personalized poetry plaque, she would need to send $38.95 $7.80 shipping in handling. All funds had to accompany the order for her to receive her book.
I mailed a check in the amount of $94.50 on June 18. It was deposited in a Suntrust Bank Account #6100606427 out of Stockbridge, GA & Richmond, VA and cleared my bank on June 23.
My daughter has never received any further correspondence from this company nor has she received her book and plaque. It is a real shame for this company to do this to so many people. After seeing all of the complaints regarding this complaint, there has to be something done to aid us in getting a refund.
