At the end last week I received my invitations from Elegant Brides who is a third party company for Carlson Craft. When I opened the box I was very disappointed to find that what I viewed on the preview before placing my order was not what was on the invitations, all of the v's looked like p's. Like instead of "To laugh with, live for, & love it looked like "To laugh with, lipe for, & lope. And instead of "Five thirty in the evening" it was "Fipe-thirty in the epening". There were several companies on the web under elgant brides. When I originally emailed the company who I thought was the one I placed my order through it took them three days to email me back and say sorry but you have no order with us we get emails all the time for elegantbrides.invitations.com.

So after that email I immediately went back on the internet to search for the correct ELEGANT BRIDES. After finally getting in touch with the lady who was not very customer service oriented she basically told me in so many words that they could not return the invitations because i did not like them. I said, maam it is not because I do not like them it is not what I viewed in the preview before I placed the order. All of the V's look like P's. She said well I will have to call the company that prints them because we go through Carlson Craft who will not return just because your unsatisfied there has to be some type of error. I repeated to her once again that the v is a p. She said well we have to go by what Carlson Craft says because we only make a 15% profit on the orders. Basically what she said in so many words that because Carlson Craft would not return them and print new ones that she could not order new invitations because her company would loose money. To me that even ticked me off more! Apparently she would rather have a unsatisfied customer than to make a customer happy and just reorder the invitations.By the way the reason I did not have their number to begin with is because it was not printed on my order conf or on my shipping slip.

When I did call the number on the web site which is not even toll free It was a cellphone. Then after speaking to her I have to wait for Carlson Craft to say ok they will reprint my order correctly. She was very rude and even argued back with me the last conversaion I had with her on the phone she laughed at me because she said I should have changed the ink colr to black then went back and previewed the order. SHHHttt this is my first time ordering Wedding Invitations I thought previewing my invitation in the color that I was ordering (lilac) was the correct thing to do. They should look at the order and confirm it with the customer before sending it off to Carlson to be printed.

Ok and my last complaint is that my wedding is in 4 wks I have no invitations and she tells me to be patient because she has to wait for a Supervisor at Carlson to approve and they will not if it is not a error they can detect from the printer. I started crying when I got off the phone with her. I am a mother of two, on a budget for my wedding, I can not afford to throw a $100 down the drain, and my wedding is only four weeks away and this lady does seem to have a care in the world she already made her money!
