I received an official looking letter which said the N.S.E.C. Was "serving me formal notification that I am a potential entry candidate for over *$1,920, 000.00 in money and prizes* in nationally sponsored sweepstakes ", and "All that is left for me to do to expedite my sweepstatkes accessability through their special reposrt containing the entry information necessary to enter to potentially win over *1,920, 000.00 in money and prizes*
is to fully complete the Individualized Identification Document below and return it in the enclosed Reply Envelope within 10 days of receipt!"
When I read the back of the paper, it says that what I would be paying the Administration Fee of $20.00 for is an easy to read and understand informational report that compiles entry, deadline and prize information on sweepstakes opportunities that are offered to the public by independent sponsors.
The envelope the offer came in has "Urgent", "Very Important", "Authorized Express Delivery", "Time Sensitive Material Enclosed", "Recipients name and address confirmed" printed on it.
This kind of mail is misleading, unethical, and I wonder how many people have sent these shysters $20?
My first name is used 8 times in the letter and return slip.
As if!
