Company advertised a $29.95 Spring treatment, at which time they would do an analysis and (presumably) provide a quote for the summer, fall and winter treatments.
On the call to them, the fellow says he knows my area and it needs monthly treatment, at $47/month. So I set up the spring treatment for Friday, and figure I will decide whether to continue or not on a monthly basis after that.
Later that day, I get a 'confirmation' call from Trugreen, saying I agreed to one treatment at $29.95, then monthly at $47/month.
I say no, I wish to get the advertised $29.95 special, and then will decide if I want to continue.
Nope says she, you only get the $29.95 special IF you agree to continue at $47/month.
She sounded like she was going to give me an annual price... But I interupted to say that I don't see anything on their ad about a requirement to sign up for ongoing service to get the special. I cancelled immeadiately. I certainly don't want to do business with a company pulling this kind of nonsense.
After reviewing their ad and the small print, there is NOTHING on it regarding ongoing treatment to qualify for this one time special.
