Wizard of Claws sent me a sick puppy on January 5. She is finally home after fighting pneumonia for weeks and still is coughing. She finally was strong enough to take cultures and we're waiting for the results. She is on several different antibiotics and other medications.
Vet bills are over $7,000.00!! She's been to our regular vet, internal medicine specialist vet and the emergency vet. She spent almost two weeks in the hospital with IV's, etc. The doctors are also looking into this matter.
We contacted Wizard of Claws and sent them one invoice from our regular vet. They told us to call back when the puppy was well. Our bill was for not only our puppy, but the cremation charge for our old dog. This is what they paid. Makes ya wonder? Of course we did not cash the check, this would show we agree.
We have gotten together all of our bills, receipts, etc. And will be sending them to Wizard of Claws tomorrow via fax and hard copies in the mail. We'll see then how fast a check comes.
We have also joined the multiple plantiffs lawsuit taking place in Florida against them. We are not the first and sadly not the last to get ripped off by their claims, etc.
We are writing to anyone and everyone who will listen and hopefully we'll get some help with this cause. Please check out STOPWIZARDOFCLAWS. Lots of good information on who to write to and answers to some questions.
