On December 9th I took my coat to Star Cleaners to be cleaned and a small unravel in the cuff to be repaired. I called on December 22nd to see if it was done, and they said yes. I went to pick it up and it was the wrong coat. They said they would find mine and call.
I went to pick up mine the next day and the sleeve was totally unraveled. They asked if I wanted them to send it back to be fixed and I said yes.
January 19th they called to say my coat was done and I went to pick it up. They had both cuffs top stitched closed, not the way it was originally. I told them that was not acceptable and they said they would call me.
January 26th I talked to Debra Hopkins and she said that the coat was made inferior and that I should take it to where I purchased it. I said to repair it first and then if I decided to take to where I purchased it I would, but that it was there responsibility to repair it. She said they would.
I called February 8th to again ask if my coat was ready. Debra left a message on my phone that they could not find anyone who could repair it the way it was and all they would do is give me my coat back the way it is now and they would give me back the money I spent for the cleaning.
I feel that I should get my coat back and the money the coat cost me since it was less than 2 months old.
