I bought a coat on 12th October. I wore the coat on 13th October. On the way home there was a rain shower I put up my umbrella. When I came home the coat had bubble marks all over the area where raindrops had touched the coat. I took it back to brent cross store today (14th October) the manager Andrew would not accept the return because he said "that the coat was not water proof or water resistant". The coat is made of 70% wool, 20% polyamide and 20% cashmere and is dry clean only. My response is that the coat is an outer garment. No where does it say on the coat that you cannot go out in the rain with the coat and an umbrella up. This garment is not fit for purpose as a coat in the UK. Therefore it is not of merchantable quality and I should be entitled to a refund on the cost.
