I live very close to this Safeway store, so sometimes I have to go there out of necessity. Whenever I have time I do whatever I can to avoid this store, particularly, and Safeway in general. EVERY time I have gone there (over the course of one year) to buy meat in their advertised special they have been out of the advertised special. This is so frustrating! As, then I have to buy something not on sale and overpriced. Every time I go up to the meat counter and ask them where the item is, they always say that they are out of it. When I ask for a substitution they always say "No". What's worse is the guys in the meat department always have a rude attitude. How can they ALWAYS be out of the advertised special. This is a pattern. I should know better by now. My husband and I buy most of our groceries at this store because of the proximity. He has been overcharged on items so many times that we know it isn't just a coincidence. I have to just stop going there even though the next store is another 15 minutes farther each way.
