This phone company, along with usbi, continues to bill me for international calls to england. These are bogus calls, and today i called again to ask that the charges be reversed. Here's what i did:
Called tellis' customer service number 877-770-2022 but never actually spoke to anyone. Waited 17 minutes before hanging up.
Then i went to the website for michigan's attorney general office and filed an on-line complaint.
I called usbi customer service at 888-472-8724."nancy" told me that these are tellis charges and she would transfer my call to them. "oh, please don't. They don't answer their phone, " i told her.
"i'm sorry, " she said. "i can help you, then."
I told her that i had seen all the consumer complaints on "consumer complaints.com" and that i, too, had charges to england that i had not made. She did not argue with me, just kept saying, "yes, m'am" and said that she would reverse all the charges. She also said that she would put a block on future calls, but i don't believe her! I also told her that i had filed a complaint with the attorney general's office, but she just kept saying, "yes, m'am." (i think she has heard all this before!)
I also called my phone company and told them that i do not want them to bill me for any third party charges. This meant that i had to make different arrangements for my dsl payments, but that's okay.
Do whatever you have to do to not give these people your money! Good can win over evil, and these people are evil!
