I got hired on at family dollar in Kannapolis, nc. I was hired as setup crew, where they told me id get great benefits and a great job to advance in. Well, then I started work and realized I was getting yelled at and degraded for a whole big 6 bux an hour. This company treats their employees so bad! And they hire the biggest rejects for managers.in my case my manager was like 26, im 24 and he thought that his great age made him close to being god, in fact he once called himself the messiah.
Well the messiah did nothing but whine about his job and beat up our stockroom, much like an angry child banging his head on the floor. I also got fired for missing a day of work, which I still cannot believe. And to my suprise right before I got canned by the Nazi Dollar, My benefits were denied. The company is so screwed up that they hire a bunch of felons and drug addicts to help them set up, then when the store is finished. They cut their hours so bad, that they force them to quit so FD, dont have to pay unemployment benefits. I strongly advise anyone who applies at this company to RUN LIKE HELL!!! Plus I hope you like sexual harassment, cause it happens on the regular.
