I am very, very glad that I researched Marvel Models before flying to Chicago, IL to meet with the company as requested during "the only appointment they had available".
After thankfully finding the badbusiness website, I scanned another article written by someone complaining that Marvel Models and "Estella Summers" operated as a phony company. Essentially if you respond to an ad in the paper from Marvel Models, please please know if the offer is too good to be true, then it really is too good to be "true!".
I was asked to come on a Thursday (four days after they received my resume) and to dress professionally and plan on spending the entire day at the office.
Thank you very very much to the person from "ottawa, Il" who originally published this business as being a scam. I almost missed my grandfather's 85th birthday party and flew to chicago.
