I received my phone bill for the month of October and paid my account before it's due date. I didn't bother to look at it until today when I was reading usacomplaints.com from this site and found this scam. I immediately looked for my bill then you know what I found out...
I've been billed for 14.95 for an email service which of course I didn't order... I have my dsl provided by my local telephone co and yahoo for that service... Anyway i call up the 800# i found on the bill nad talked to Barbara and she said i ordered their services online by entering a survey window...
I told her that i didn't recall having participated in any survey and she insist that i did... To make this story short, i demanded a refund for the charge they made and a cancellation of my account with them... She said that they will refund me for the charges but it will take about 2 billing cycle before it will be reflected in my account... And she also cancelled my subscription to their services... I just hope that it will be done...
If anybody out there who wants to make legal actions against this company, i am very eager to participate... Let's make these bastards pay for the trouble they caused us...
