I had visited a website offering samples of different products and had requested a sample from Jevene.
When it arrived, they mentioned in letter that a larger jar would be sent shortly and charged to my credit card. I looked for a phone number on their letter and there was none.
When the shipment for $62.02 arrived, it again contained no contact information. A few weeks later, the charge showed up on my credit card bill with a phone number included.By that time, I had received another jar and another charge for $62.02.
I had never intended to get put on a monthly program with Jevene and they were making it difficult to contact them. From the phone number listed on my credit card statement, I called them.
There were kids playing in the background and this sounds as if it's a home-based business. I was told that they would not take back the first jar since their return policy was 30 days and that had just passed.
I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges and report them to the Better Business Bureau as well.
Good luck with getting any customer service from them but be assured they have no concerns about charging your credit card $62.02 per month for something you never intended to order.
