I did a one-for-one exchange of a "Blue Rhino" Propane Tank. However, after arriving home and connecting the tank to my grill with a pressure measuring gauge; the reading indicated the replacement tank was only partially full. Within an hour, I returned to the store with the tank (receipt in hand) and attempted to just do a one-for-one exchange for another tank. What resulted was a confrontational exchange with the Garden Door Checker, The Department Manager, "Kelly" The Storefront Manager at Customer Service Desk, The Service Department Manager, and store Security Personnel. They, The Wal-Mart employees wanted to tell me that my pressure gauge had to be wrong because they, "Could lift the faulty tank and it was heavy so it had to be full"! Are You Kidding Me? This back and forth started at the garden door entrance, to the customer service desk, back to the garden center and subsequently ending up at the propane refill cage. This was very disruptive to all the other patrons at the check-out registers, including other customer trying to complete transaction with the Tax Center. What is so truly sad is that this was a very simple one for one exchange "With Receipt". The irony is that the Service Department Manager, the one responsible for supervising tire exchange (s) and replacement (s) would try to vehemently declare that because he can shake the tank and it feels heavy than it must be full. Customer Beware! If he applies that principle to tire replacement (s), ie, your tire feels "heavy therefore it must be fully inflated, so never mind using a pressure gauge! I would be very wary of placing the lives of you or your love ones in there incapable hands! US Army (Ret), DAV
