Kmart store 777 on Broadway rip-off customers by removing certain sale items from their shelves and blatantly lies that they have all been purchased.
Myself and other consumers have been noticing this bad business practice for a long time now but today was the final straw.
Kmart has a super sale on Barbie dolls for 11/24 only. So I stopped by the store the evening before the sale. Sure enough the shelves were fully stocked. I even brought a few co-workers with me to prove my point.
We jokingly too a picture of the shelves of dolls. I decided to get the dolls before I went to work. I went to Kmart at 9am... And you guess it... The dolls were all gone.
I saw a sales rep with a shopping cart of the dolls and overheard another sales rep telling her to put them in the back.
When I approached them and enquired about the doll, one of the reps walked away with a smirk on his face and the other told me they were sold out.
When asked about the dolls in the cart she was holding she responded that a "customer" asked her to hold them for her and she'll be back.
I told her there was no way they could have sold so many dolls before 9 in the morning on a weekday. But she stuck to her story. I guess they are well trained.
Anyway as it stands. I have my co-workers and pics on my digital as proof that they had more than enough dolls the day before the sale.
And this is not an isolated case, it happens alot at the Kmart on Broadway. I just felt that enough is enough and something has to be done.
