This company is a scam! I received my FREE sample & immediately sent two emails cancelling my 'subscription'. (I've been burned by 'auto-ship' programs in the past and knew I better cancel immediately). Neither email was acknowledged so I called.
Kevin, the floor supervisor, told me he would process the cancellation to my membership but unless I returned the 'FREE' sample I would be charged in FULL for the product since it was actually a full size product, not a trial size. HUH??? It said FREE when I ordered it. It said $. 00 charge on my email confirmation (which I saved). NO WHERE in my email confirmation did it say I would be subsequently charged for this product. You've got to be kidding. How is this legal???
Sorry, Kevin says. I hope you're not harboring resentments against me. I don't make the policies, I just work here. And if I don't pay to have it shipped back & follow all their inane rules (include the RMA # on the outside of the box, & on the return label etc...) I'll be charged. AND If they don't receive it within the next week I will be charged. Oh and by the way, Kevin informs me that if I dispute the charge to my credit card company I will no longer qualify for a refund. (This statement is incredibly also posted on their website in the FAQ's).
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. How can they advertise a FREE sample then charge you for it??
