I recently purchased a $130 pair of sunglasses at ALPINE EYEWEAR for a christmas gift. I decided that I was not going to give this gift to my friend, and tried to take the BRAND NEW SUNGLASSES back to the store. However, they informed me that they do not issue cash refunds. I would just like to point out the fact that I currently work in customer service, and also live in the area where I made the purchase. I will not be satisfied until I get my money back for this merchandise, and I will continue to tell my associates as well as customers about this incident. The pair of sunglasses that I returned to the store have never EVER been taken out of its package. These sunglasses are in mint condition, and I can guarantee that they will be resold. I am personally upset at the fact that no one informed me about this policy until my signature was in place. I also think that this is absolutely ridiculous considering it was purchased in the holiday season, and no one has made me feel like a valuable customer. I am HIGHLY dissappointed with the service that I have receieved from this company. I would appreciate some sort of action to be taken to receive my money back for this merchandise!!!
