Jerome Hoffman, AKA Boxcar stores was a joke! I worked forjerry for approx. One month and a half and a Construction Manager/Architect. Myjob was to review and drawings make changes to existing cad drawings, interviewarchitects in other areas for new location of building future stores. Jerry isa career crook. I was told to get architects to draft up design for the boxcarvision and no one would get paid until the site would be permitted and ready tobreak ground knowing fully that he had no intent to build any of these stores. What jerry would do is to get contractor to bid on the projects and get themoney to pocket his operation and pay employee that were not paid for months ofwork. Jerry was pissed because I could not ethically screw companies and firedme. He wrote me a check after months of calling him about my check. Afterwriting the check turned around and put a stop payment on the check. I calledjerry from various phones to contact him about payment because his would notreturn calls to numbers that he remembered so I had to be creative. I suedjerry for the bound check after month of trying to tracking him I found that henever put anything in his name everything was in his wife or lady friend name. I did some research and found out where she lived had filed at that resident. Ifinally got the paper served and got him in court and won my case on the on boxcarstore because jerry claim that he was a employee as well of boxcar that was rununder a group of investor. Im still waiting although I know I will never seethat money he will die and hell will be reserving a special place for him
