777 Movers, Shaul Dadon was very quick to visit my home and give me a visual estimate of the cross town moving time and expense, he estimated a 3000 sq foot house would take 4 hours to move 5 miles down the road. He repeatedly said that it would be simple because we had everything packed plus we were moving about 1/3 of the contents oursevles prior to moving day.
Moving day - the team of 3 arrive and the BS begins, they need to pack, but they will waive the material costs if I agree to tip them. How many boxes were marked fragile that were going to be dropped if I didn't agree to the little tipping scam... And it went down hill from there. Sounded to me like the moving crew figured out a way to rip Shaul off. The 4 hour estimate was a 7 hour nightmare experience, the truck was too small for the contents of the house; they jammed everything into the trailer but didn't take anything fromin the garage. They certainly offered to make a second trip, but that would have added on God knows how much more time!
When I called to complain about the ridiculous estimate that was actually double the time and money they offered to give me a 30% discount to move what they left behind. How about free guys - you already ripped me off enough!!!
Save yourself a huge headache - never ever use 777 Movers!
