We hired Natural Blue Pacific Pools to construct our dream pool in Dec. Mike Murphy and Neil Murphy are father and adopted son and co-owners of this fraudulent and vile company. Chris Michael's is the "Slick Willy" salesman that will say anything to get your business!
Our problems are almost identical to the couple that also wrote their horror story, Marty and Dawn of Cumby TX. We had to have the pool plastered 3 times due to faulty workmanship, inferior product and labor. Each time we had to fill the pool, per the contract, and each time we drained it and started over. We've had pools built before and we were used to some challenges, but NEVER, EVER imagined we would waste so much time and money on this one!!! Each plaster job was worse than the previous one. After two unsuccessful plasters, I insisted that Mike, Neil or Chris be present during the process and periodically during the fill process. Imagine when huge cracks arose, beyond normal "checking" and the plaster was peeling up before even filling the pool with water. Panic calls to each of their cell phones, e-mails, text messages — ALL WENT UNANSWERED!!! Chris Michael's was never seen again once he had payments in hand!!!
Like the Cumby TX family, we too have an unlevel pool, decking that has raised above the coping, decking that cracked significantly in several areas - in 10 days after deck pour!!! I got the same BS response from Mike Murphy that stated it was due to the new landscape watering that caused the decking to raise and crack!!!
We've had the water fall plumbing fail (literally pull apart because it wasn't glued, in one area, and because the pipes were merely pushed together (NOT EVEN GLUED!). We've had valves fail, auto pool filler fail, irrigation line to pool filler fail, etc... I also discovered when I went to my city inspactor to see if they had passed the various inspections required for sign off, they conveniently stopped after the first 2 of the required 5 inspections. My town has NATURAL BLUE POOLS as well as MIKE MURPHY, NEIL MURPHY and CHRIS MICHAEL's on their radar to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Natural Blue Pools nor MIKE MURPHY, NEIL MURPHY OR CHRIS MICHAEL's. They also owe the city FINES as they were NOT to have filled the pool with water until the inspections were signed off on.
MIKE MURPHY will promise to come by, have workers finish projects, will even stop by to give you the impression he's on it, but NEVER, NEVER delivers! He said he was going to be building a pool in a near by town and when they were at the stage of pouring their decking, he would have the crew over to redo our disastrous decking — that was over 8 month's ago!!! At that point, I didn't believe a word MIKE MURPHY said, and visited with the local city inspector of that town this supposed pool was being constructed. What I learned was that there was no permits for any pools to be built in that city by NATURAL BLUE POOLS or the MURPHY slobs and that the only thing they showed were incomplete permits and complaints by local home owners!!! What a surprise!!! NOT!!!
I have worked with A LOT of service companies, but HAVE NEVER worked with such crooked and vile, lie through their teeth a-holes. Usually companies are concerned about their reputations and making sure their customers are satisfied, but not NATURAL BLUE PACIFIC POOLS, MIKE MURPHY, NEIL MURPHY!!! Supposedly, Chris Michael's left the company last year and is trying his hand at a pool design company — good luck with that!!! ;) He has no concept of customer service and I'm sure his new company, Poolscape Architecture, will also fail miserably. What none of these people seem to understand is the viral impact a bad reputation will have on their future.
Never ever do business with natural blue pools, mike murphy, neil murphy, chris michaels!!! They are cheats, liers and will not deliver!!!
