Snide remark by head cashier - gift card

For the first time in quite some time, today I went into Kohl%u2019s [#772] in the Webster Plaza to get a gift card for a member of my family. I was waited on and asked for a gift card in the amount of $50. Like most other stores I got gift cards in, I thought receiving a gift receipt was automatic. When I asked if I had received a gift receipt I could include with the gift card I was informed there was none. I asked if one could be printed and the cashier tried twice to generate one but was unable to. The head cashier (directing customer traffic to all the cashiers) also tried to assist but to no avail. A floor supervisor was summoned and she offered to make me a copy of the original receipt less the credit card information as my gift receipt. While she was gone to make the copy, the head cashier made a snide remark that I did not think was too kind. She said to the cashier %u201Cit looks like you are getting all the difficult customers today! %u201D. She looked right at me and I gave her a dirty look and that is as far as it went. I didn%u2019t take kindly to her snide remark. I guess I am at a loss what is so difficult about getting a gift receipt when you purchase a gift card. Most places give those to you automatically or at least ask if you want one. Thank you to the cashier and the floor supervisor for their efforts. However, not very good customer relations by the head cashier at this Kohl%u2019s location!
