Bad perm & uneven color for the same $ as a 5 star salon - Perm, all over colo

I came in for a perm last week %u2013 besides having perm stuff get in my eyes, which wasn%u2019t fun and the curl not really a CURL but more a crimp... I am charged for the perm at $50 then not just $10 extra for my length, but $30 plus and extra $10 for who knows what else... Fine sp $98 total without tip... Then I decided I like the special for cut & color for $64.95 so I came in this am... I DO NOT remember or being told last week and DEFINITELY NOT even again this am that the special would go up for my hair until I got to the register... So NOT ONLY am I charged the $65 for the cut & color... Tack on $35 for the color and $20 for length and another $10 for length... So where at my 5 star salon I would%u2019ve paid just $120 for a CUSTOMIZED color and cut... And couldn%u2019t afford that right now... I come in to Fantastic Sam%u2019s (but now I remember why I don%u2019t come to FS) because I now just paid $150 not including tip for a color and cut (which I don%u2019t think the color is even at all %u2013 since my roots sat for 30 min while Cheryl cut someone else%u2019s hair and then came back to do the rest of my hair and it just looks way darker at top {which is more the color I wanted anyway, but not the rest of my hair}). Honestly, now I just paid $243 TOTAL... And I felt like I paid the price of a 5 star salon and didn%u2019t get the results I wanted. I had the shock of thinking I was going to pay $64.95 but ended up paying for 2 specials %u2013 TOTAL CRAP, thanks for emptying my bank account today. I don%u2019t think I can EVER again justify to come back, especially with results like these and with HOW MUCH it costs. I feel ripped off and unhappy and I just want to cry thinking that yes I was saving by coming to FS, but instead PAID more.

Funny thing is -when I left I wasn't exactly ecstatic about the curls and said maybe once I get to wash/cut, they'll look nicer (didn't happen and looked worse after my cut today too) and seeing the color I wasn't ecstatic either and I voiced it and w my expression - and so at my visit today to hear oh well if you want tighter curls, we can do that next time... And then well if we need to even the color out, we can do that next time&What?!!! So I don't get what I want now?!! Just what they are willing to do, now. So I can pay extra now and then for a slightly wavy crimp and awkward uneven looking red color with a stained head. Hmm and I'd have to pay twice if not three times the reg price because I have longer hair. Biggest rip off to be told well 'next time' when I just paid more than a full service 5 star salon.

So I get a call from the Store Manager just before 5pm... NOT the owner... And all they were willing to do is refund the extra hair charges $60. Funny, but not really. SOOO for $240 that I dished out to have left with a crappy perm and bad color... What she was really saying by giving me just the extra length back charges is that my issues with everything else is invalid. And to be told that they give such BIG discounts that is why they %u201Ca la carte%u201D the extra fees %u2013 really, that much $40 extra for the perm and $65 for the cut & color is considered a HUGE discount?

Honestly, I was so upset with her answers and overall, I just gave her my CC info and I told her fine, I guess and hung up.

So not happy still.
