H.E.A.T. Automotive/Honest Engines and Transmissions is a SCAM
This company is the dictionary definition of SCAM

This company is the dictionary definition of SCAM.

They tell you exactly what you want to hear: "We have the engine you are looking for and it costs only $1450. We will have it shipped right out and you will get it in 4 days".

Then I give them my credit card which they charge immediately.
8 days later when my engine still has not arrived... Here come the excuses: "there was a delay with the shipping company, you should get it within the next 2 days".
4 days later, still no engine... Now they avoid calls: "Hello, can I please speak with the manager, this is Maury... Um, the manager is busy right now, he'll call you back soon"

Repeat the last paragraph 8 times, no call backs. Now I have to go through my credit card company to get refunded.

Following this experience, I did some research on the owners of this company, I know, I should have done this first, but here is what I found:

Brad Rosenthal - Been involved in many scams over the past 20 years, does not discriminate in who he scams... Elderly, handicapped and more... Very bad news.
Sam Rosenthal - Brad's father... The apple does not fall far from the tree... Enough said.

I hope you are reading this before it is too late for you.
Good luck.
